Weird and funny things that happened to you as a child
I have to say that when I was a child I used to be very lively and quite unpredictable. Wherefore I have many interesting and amusing memories of my childhood. I remember one of them especially because it was a little painful for me.
One autumn morning, my mother found a small hedgehog in front of our door. It was frozen and hungry so she deciced to take it home. I was really enthusiastic about that therefore she suggested I took care of it.
I prepared a place to sleep for our little guest and I fed him. Then, quite recklessly I decided to play with it.
All of a sudden it bit me and what was worse it didn't want to let me go. So what did I do?
Of course I ran to my mother with the hedgehog dangling on my finger and screaming 'take it of!' 'take it away from me!' Luckly my mother managed to get rid of it and my finger wasn't badly wounded.
In retrospect I think that the poor hedgehog was more scared than me. ;)

About 2 weeks ago I received an invitation to the wedding of my friend. To be honest I wasn't really in the mood for partying. I was still getting over my last exam, which I had failed.
I called to my friend with a view to giving her an excuse for not going to her weeding.
Unfortunately I could not get a word in edgeways! She was so excited about getting meried that I've change my mind at the drop of a hat!
I decided to go there and make her day. She was my best friend after all and we have been always getting on well.
Moving on to the weeding day I must admit it was a pleasant surprise. I met many interesting people. Some of them, like one of the cousins of the bride got above herself what was really annoying.
I was also introduced to the groom's brother who turned out to be a very nice person. I found out that he had got devorced recently. He had been getting on very well at work, but his wife was always getting at him and she was getting him down. They had been arguying all the time, because she had been always dissatisfied. For this reason he had got himself into a real state and he had got into trouble. His sister had got involved in this affair and she had got round him to leave his wife. She had also got him through his divorce case.
.Now he is making a fresh start. I must express my admiration for him, because he is doing great. He is getting into his new job which gives him a lot of satisfaction.
This conversation showed my that little things like exams aren't worth complaining and being in a bad mood.

No Halloween!
I have to admit that I've never took part in the Halloween party. This is most likely due to my opinion of the spread of this event in Poland. I strongly believe that this is a time for reflection and looking back people who passed away instead of celebrating.
Of course it doesn't mean that we have to grieve for them, just the opposite- we should reminisce with our familly and friends. This is just my way to spend the first days of November. I get together with my familly, we are talking and reminiscing. In the evening we go to the cemetery to light candles and pray for the dead.

Sushi time
Yesterday I was to have gone out to the cinema with my friend.Unfortunately when we arrived it turned out that all tickets had been sold out. Because of that we were forced to come up with something else.
We were going down the street when out of the blue an extraordinary advertisment with sushi showed up just in front of us. My friend suggested going there to try it. We were quite nervous because we didn't know what to expect and how we should behave. We asked a waitress to explain us how to use chopsticks and different kind of dishes. She was really nice and helpful , thanks to her we felt more confident.
We chose dish which could be the most tasty in our opinion. Fortunately we were right, it was delicious and so unusual. Of cours at the beginning we had some problems with chopsticks and it was really funny. Later we ordered green tea ice cream for dessert. I must say it was the best ice cream I have ever eaten!
If you want to try something new you have to go there! ;)

I still can't believe holidays are over.. For 3 months I could do anything I wanted, but now it's time to go back to reality.. It's quite hard because I got used to staying up late and meeting my friends every day. Of course i wasn't only having fun for all this time. In the first week of the holidays I managed to find a work. I was taking care of Zuzia- four-year-old girl and I must admit that I had a really great time. Various games we played, all movies we watched.. I really missed it.
Later, in August I had more time to relax and 'recharge batteries'. Together with my boyfriend and his family, we were at the seaside. We really enjoyed this time, we were playing around in the water and playing volleybal. Evenings we were visiting different kinds of restarunat, pubs and amusement parks.
After we went back, me and my boyfriend ,we went camping with our friends. As alwasy it was really funny and amusement.
When it comes to time I spent alone I must say that I was reading a lot. First of all I finally decided to read 'Kłamce' written Jakub Ćwiek. This book is a wonderful example of how good is Polish fantasy nowadays.
It is a story of Loki- the god of lies. After an attack on Valhalla - the land of his father- he decided to join the winner- angels.
Reading this book was really funny because of the sophisticated sense of humor and very unusual behavior of Loki. What's more the author showed in a very unique way the world without God, ruled only by angels.
I must say that it's one of the best book I've ever read.

Neighbours From Hell.
I really love my housing development but unfortunately I have to say that it isn't the ideal place. As we all know it doesn't matter how much you love the area in which you live or how much you love your home, having an annoying neighbour can take away your pleasure.
Conflict with my neighbours takes up to now so I can't not describe here any happy ending.
I can only say what it is about. First thing is that they listen to the music extreme loud, you can hear it with all the windows closed in the house. The worse thing is that they love disco-polo music! I can't stand it!
Moreover they parks their car in my one spot on the street. Therefore I have to waste time looking for another place for my car. But what bothers me most is that they blame me for almost everything. For example that my shower is too loud or I walk around the house too loud, etc.
While it is often best to try to ignore these annoyances, that isn’t always possible, specially when you have a bad day.

Recently I've read something that really moved me. It was a story of a pregnant woman who had an accident resulting in her death. Her body was kept alive by a respirator what gives doctors a chance to save her children.
In my opinion this news has two sides. First of all, it's for sure moving and maybe kinda scary, because we don't read such a news every day. On the other hand the fact that twins are alive is a real miracle. The were given a chance to live, to grow up and to set up their own families in the future.
Unfortunately we aren't given good news often, while it's a need in my opinion. Good news gives us hope and shows that not only different kinds of tragedies are happening all around the world.

The king's speech
I'd like to write about a movie, which I've seen a couple of time and which I'll be watching all over again for a long time.;p This movie is 'The king's speech'.
It's a story about Bertie who has suffered from a debilitating speech impediment all his life.
After the death of his father George V and an abdication of Edward VII he is suddenly crowned a King George VI. It's really hard time, because his country is on the brink of the war and it desperately need a leader.
His wife, Elizabeth decides do arrange a meeting with a speech therapist Lionel.
After a hard time, men starts to cooperate and we are witnessing the birth of faithful friendship and an unimaginable change of the king.
I must say it's one of the best movies I've ever seen.
First of all I've been impressed of the way in which the actors have created their roles.
Colin Firth who has played the king George was amazing in my opinion. He showed true emotions of th
e man who has a lot of complexes.
Geoffrey Rush who played Lionel created an incredible and extraordinary character of the therapist.
Second thing is that the subject matter of the movie is really serious and moving but at the same time is really funny. Jokes aren't like in the all other movies, they are surprising and fresh.

Finally made it! Now, as thousands of others, I'm going to 'write a blogg' Of course if it wasn't compulsory I wouldn't set it up, because I have never been into it.
Be honest I have no idea how a blogg should be carried on but I think that presenting myself will be a good beginning.
I love doing thousands of things and there is even more things that I hate doing but I have to, so I'm filled under lack of time. Probably it's a problem which most of students have. ;p
So, things that I love doing. Above all I'm just addicted to listening to music and unfortunately watch movies and series. My favorite bad is Linkin Park and- i really need to say it!- I'm going to seem they live! Can't wait it. TV series.. There's really long list of which I have been watching, but I have a great excuse! I watch it in English ;p To make impression that the ways I spend my free time on are more 'educational' I have to say I'm also keen on reading, especially fantasy books. Recently, thanks to my boyfriend I have discovered polish authors. I hope I'll have time to catch up!
Now it's time to show a bad side of me. My bad habits.. I love eating! This is my weakness but at the same time joy of living and being a human.;pp To make me more comfortable with my 'passion' I've decided to develop my skills to cope in the kitchen without hurting myself or somebody else.;p (probably also student's life and lack of my mother and grandmother!;( have an influence on it ;p)
I think it's all for now. I had to have sth to write about next time!;p
